  • Bon Scott was a Leaf fan

Nice!!  I missed this earlier….listening to it now.  Thx much!!

  • peterbleafs

I stayed away from this place all day…just watched TSN, was good.  I liked the moderate stuff the Leafs did.  Do not regret anyone else where they went, even Brian Boyle as cheap as he was

  • peterbleafs

Lots of decent deals…few over paid.  Washington way overpaid for Orpik…ridiculously so.  Also over paid Niskanen.

Too soon to say one way or the other. I am glad that we didn’t sign any Clarkson-level mistakes. Also, we are now one of the few teams with the capspace (AND the ability to actually spend the $) to maybe take advantage of teams needing to shed salary.

    Brad Richards is a Hawk.

  • peterbleafs

leafmealone We have a decent chance of finishing low in the standings as well.

  • leafmealone

peterbleafs leafmealone It would be ideal to just play some kids and see what happens. If we do better than expected, then make some moves at the deadline with the extra cap space. Otherwise, sell some pieces and get a mix of picks, prospects (hopefully a young talented C) to help a re-tooling before our core gets too much older.

  • FRyan

So why did we have to throw in jerry d for Matt frattin seems crazy. Could have swamped jerry d for frattin but throwing in a pick. Leafs always get the ass end of things

  • Black_Hawk

    FRyan conditional apparently

so happy komarov is back, hopefully he helps the room out a lot
