Below is a full breakdown of the Toronto Maple Leafs 2016 training camp roster as of October 3.
October 3rd updates:
- Returning to junior is Jeremy Bracco. He was eligible to join the Toronto Marlies on account of being drafted out of the USHL, but — still 19 years old for the majority of the upcoming season — he will return to Kitchener for a second OHL season. With 64 points in 49 games as an 18-year-old rookie last season and a further 14 in nine playoff games, Bracco is primed to post big numbers in 2016-17. He’ll join a Rangers team that is off to a good start (3-0-0, 18 goals scored).
I - Among the other players eligible to go to either the AHL or junior that are still in camp: Travis Dermott, Andrew Nielsen, Dmytro Timashov, and Adam Brooks.
I - Nikita Soshnikov is recovering from a hamstring injury and will start the season with the Marlies, according to Mike Babcock.
I - The Leafs will carry a high number of players on their camp roster through to Sunday as they will play Tuesday – Thursday – Friday – Saturday this week.
I - Joining Toronto Marlies camp are Tony Cameranesi (AHL contract), Marc-Andre Cliche (AHL contract), and Kasimir Kaskisuo.
