Just some quick thoughts after the Maple Leafs‘ 4-3 overtime win over the Bruins:
Assist for Phil Kessel is his first point in 5 games against his old team
Bozak continues to progress
Carl Gunnarsson had another solid game with a goal and a +3 rating
Dion Phaneuf logged team-high 27:26 of ice-time and threw some decent hits
Execution still lacking on Leafs‘ power-play, now 0-for-28 in last 6 games
Fredrik Sjostrom will miss another 2 weeks with upper-body injury
Gustavsson wasn’t at his best tonight, but got the job done
Hard work will continue to be the identity of this team
I‘m pleasantly surprised that ticket prices will not go up next season
Jamie Lundmark hasn’t overly impressed so far
Kulemin for captain!
Luca Caputi scores his first Leaf goal in home debut
Mikhail Grabovski looked decent in his first game back from wrist injury
Not sure if Christian Hanson will ever come around
Orr didn’t take any bad penalties, come again?
Primeau chipped in with a 2nd-period goal
Quiet night from Tomas Kaberle
Rickard Wallin actually had a decent game on the forecheck
Schenn picked up a couple of assists and was a +2
Tim Thomas owns Phil Kessel
Unusual seeing the Leafs win in overtime
Viktor Stalberg used his speed well tonight
Why is John Mitchell in the NHL?
Xanax can be left in the medicine cabinet…for now
Youthful enthusiasm shone through tonight
Zdeno Chara missed the game with a lower-body injury
