The 2016 World Cup of Hockey is an international ice hockey tournament. It is scheduled to start on September 17 and end on October 1, 2016. Games are being held at the Air Canada Centre in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The tournament format is a group stage tournament with the winners of each group (group A and B) facing off in a 3 game series to determine the winner of the 2016 World Cup of Hockey.

Rules for classification: If two teams tie, then the result of their game breaks the tie.
If there is a three of four-way tie then all games are considered and then: 1) Total of regulation and OT wins; 2) Regulation wins only; 3) Goal Differential; 4) Total goals scored.
