The second half of a preseason back-to-back goes tonight in Buffalo (7 p.m. EST, Sportsnet 360).
The Leafs are giving their World Cup participants a little extra time off from game action, meaning Auston Matthews’ debut will wait until Sunday versus Montreal at the earliest.
Tyler Bozak will make his preseason debut on a line with Mitch Marner and Peter Holland, according to Jim Hiller — a chance for Marner to play alongside some higher end skill after his excellent preseason debut on a line with Brooks Laich and Colin Greening.
Jhonas Enroth will make his Leaf debut in net against his former team, with Antoine Bibeau likely to take over part way through.
