Team Records: Leafs – 6-1-0 vs. Hurricanes – 2-2-3
Game Preview: Clicky.
James van Riemsdyk is expected to sit again tonight. His back spasms still haven’t let up despite two treatments today, and the Leafs training staff is hesitant to risk a setback.
The Leafs have four players in the lineup at forward who no one would’ve penciled in prior to the season, but they’re finding ways to win and currently sit top 5 in goals for, powerplay, and shooting percentage. They’re top 10 in goals against, and top five in penalty killing and team save percentage.
Let’s keep this train rolling.
GO LEAFS GO.

Cam Ward is expected to start for the Hurricanes. Ward is apparently playing with extra motivation after his Team Canada snub, but there is not going to be room with both Reimer and Bernier going to Sochi.
