    My question on Ranger: When do we give up on him? How long are we patiently thinking he’s got potential until we pull the plug on this experiment? I assume right now we’re holding Ranger there because we see the kind of player that he can be. We aren’t holding him here because of his play thus far.

    I think Gardiner plays better with more time as well. I think lots of players need to earn their ice time, but Gardiner relaxes with more ice time and he does definitely play better with Franson.
