Gus Katsaros joins Michael Langlois and Declan Kerin to discuss the state of the Maple Leafs as the calendar turns to 2014.
Reaction thread for Team Canada Roster - http://mapleleafshotstove.com/2014/01/07/react-team-canada-roster-announced/
Maybe the players they selected over the players they didnt select, they felt they would do better on the big ice. Plus it's about building a team, not a selection of theb est players. Relax, Canada is still better than the Netherlands.
Hockey Canada did it again, they do know that we don't get draft picks if we do bad right? It doesn't work like that Canada
With that selection - Canada is not going far.
Defense is not good and the forward selection is well interesting.
Alright smartass, name the three teams that are gonna finish ahead of Canada.
it's close though...
@ShotgunCharlie Nash is the worst
I'm guessing that Hamhuis made it over Phaneuf, because although Dion is a left handed shot, he plays the right side.
@Sundin_13 Too many Canucks and Scabs on the team
@Murph2417 Lowe: "If this doesn't work out we'll get the first pick again...what? Oh...never mind..."
@Murph2417 Kevin Lowe "Oh...."
@Jmessih I'd take Giroux over Kunitz. Obviously Cindy had some input here.
@JWaterdrager Bozak's defecting to the States. Kessel got him a spot on his line: the Leaf killers.
@Denied Honestly stumped
Yea, that's fucked!
@Jmessih Let's get back to leafs news since we clearly are going to do bad in the olympics :)
@Komas Taberle Nash has been shit for a bit. If we're taking guys based on the past why not Brodeur?
Is there an echo in here?
Having surgery on his wrist
Saw that on TSN just before they announced the team.
@Bruffins Red and White or Blue and White, no Red, White and Blue for me
@vinoa Dam I am at work Shit !
@Bruffins I wish that was true ;)
@vinoa Jeff Carter, IMO.
I would have taken Giroux over Carter and kept Kunitz on the team.
@DARF24 No he wasn't...lol.
ya,and Ken Dryden ;)
Politics in play..Cherry should have fun with this
How the fuck they took Carter over Neal and St. Louis, I'll never know!
I really don't think they'd take that into consideration.
Hmmm, I dunno about that.
I'd take Keith over Kronwall, Weber over Edler, Pietrangelo over Ericsson and Doughty over Hjalmarsson.
I'd take Ekman-Larsson over Bouwmeester, but would say Karlsson and Subban are a wash.
I'm thinking Sweden wins gold
Sedin - Sedin - Eriksson
Landeskog - Backstrom - Steen
Franzen - Zetterberg - Alfredsson
Hagelin - Berglund - Silfverberg
Kruger - Ericsson
Should probably still win Gold, but definitely not the best team.
