Michael is well-known for his website Vintage Leaf Memories (www.vintageleafmemories.com) where he has been blogging for nearly a decade and contributes feature pieces for Maple Leafs Hotstove. Michael worked in private broadcasting between 1976 and 1984 and established his own independent communications and issues management consultancy in 1989. Today he focuses extensively on his sports consulting role as a personal advisor to a number of professional/NHL coaches as well as professional and amateur athletes and sports organizations, including the Ontario Soccer Association and the Canadian Paralympic Committee.
